EATING LAS VEGAS by Marc Youngblood
| LAS VEGAS - Wednesday.
Whether you're a high roller or the run of the mill slot player, it's a sure bet that you can find a palate pleasing meal in Las Vegas. If you're a pizza lover, there's the Vegas chapter of the world famous Wolfgang Puck Cafe, a brick oven pizza restaurant with such scintillating and original pizza creations as lamb sausage with fiery habanero chili peppers, spicy shrimp, and smoked salmon.
Or for the more adventurous, there's the new Gatsby restaurant which serves a farm raised ostrich dish with risotto. Don't forget to wash the meal down with a long neck bottle of beer.
Maybe for the more conventional, there's an endless cup of joe and a good seafood salad bar, then head for The Fog City Diner. One can enjoy a meal in this modern upscale version of a classic roadside diner decorated in neon and wood.
